Relatively Dead is about two sisters, Daisy and Sunny, whose lives have been shaped by their eccentric father. With a childhood filled with stories and riddles, the sisters grew disillusioned with their old man living in the middle of the woods, and drifted apart and away from one another. Now, after their father has died, they must come together to clear out the old shack before it’s sold on. Years may have passed, but old wounds never quite heal, and the sisters soon learn that maybe not every thing their father told them was a whimsical tale. There’s something in that old house, and it’s been waiting for them for a long, long time. 

This is a work in progress dark comedy exploring generational grief, and the cycle we must break to grow. Sunken Village explores what it means to tell ghost stories in our modern age, using sound, sense, and the absurdity of being afraid of what goes bump in the night.
