2026 Festival

That’s right. We’re back! Following the success of our 2024 Festival, Queer Up Duck! returns to Nottingham this year with a programme of work spanning film, theatre, comedy, drag, art and more. 

We’re thrilled to be working with partners across the city to showcase some of the best LGBTQ+ arts across Nottingham.

2024 Festival

For 2 weeks in October, Queer Up Duck! Festival took over 13 venues across Nottingham. From a queer takeover of Nottingham’s Central Library, to exhibitions at Gasleak Mountain, City Arts and Broadway, to comedy at Squires Performing Arts and 7 shows at Nottingham Playhouse. 1200 audiences engaged with the festival in its inaugural year and we can’t wait to bring the festival back to the city.
