We welcome two authors, both published by the wonderful Cipher Press: Joe Conroy and Peter Scalpello. They’ll be in conversation, discussing all things queer writing, modern protagonists and mental health as part of this Queer Sunday session.

Joe Conroy is the author of brand new fiction release In Out- a raw, propulsive and hilarious novel by a wildly talented new queer writer that gives us a new kind of antihero – an unhinged twink grappling with existence in 2016 Britain.

Peter Scalpello is a queer poet and sexual health therapist from Glasgow. Author of the poetry collection Limbic, and Mirrorstage- a raw and profound novel in verse about mental health, addiction, queerness and shame that explores ideas of hybridity and identity.

Both authors are published by Cipher Press, a queer owed and run independent publisher of queer fiction and non-fiction.
