Portals is an exhibition that gathers a group of LGBTQ+ artists to explore the importance of queer utopias. As a community, how can we take agency over our futures and create new worlds and ways to exist? No matter how ridiculous, outlandish or farcical they may be. 

This exhibition explores how we sculpt society around us. How designing queer utopias that are absurd, failed and farcical need to be celebrated. 

When striving towards better futures, we can’t ignore our pasts. How do we balance hope and anger when working towards a better world? When given the space, what change do we want to make?
